As a brand-new shop launch Solis had chosen to use Vend as their Point of Sale (PoS) choice, they needed an ecommerce solution that would integrate with Vend. Working with WooCommerce, I was able to link Vend to push to WooCommerce keeping inventory, stock levels and prices synced across to Woo from Vend has the main source of truth.
The site design had to be light, simple and product focused. The clean design of the site helps the products really sell themselves for what they are. At every opportunity from pop-ups to ecommerce order completes, visitors are engaged in signing up for Solis’ mailing list. Complete with bonus sign up voucher codes that are often run as specials and promotions.
Another challenge with ecommerce stores is shipping and shipping tracking, often this involves expensive third-party software to handle. However, I found a solution that works with WooCommerce perfectly for no additional cost, once an order is packaged, the tracking number can be put in and as part of the order complete process in Woo, the customer is emailed their tracking link.
