Migrating Simply Uniform’s over to Avada, let them edit their own content easier as well as giving me the advantage to use Avada’s powerful design elements to make a functional and beautiful website. Customising WooCommerce using ACF for additional SEO benefits on category pages, as well as working with a plugin to allow enquiries to be made on products as well as purchases were some requirements for Simply Uniforms.
It is a large site with thousands of products, and still runs fast on cPanel thanks to lots of optimisation from MariaDB/MYSQL optimisation to image squishing & caching. Keeping the site maintained on the latest PHP version with several tweaks too offers great performance. With any ecommerce site, having a CDN for the multiple images served up per product page is a great help too with local speeds.
