Needing a way for clients to view upcoming events and then book, WordPress was a great platform using event and event booking plugins. Many tie into WooCommerce and use that functionality to process the selling of tickets part. Using Event’s Calendar, I was able to have events show, capture attendee information and process payments via Stripe. The benefits of a one-stop shop tool like WordPress.
Emailing course data and other important documents meant that email had to be 100% reliable for RSWA as they grew in employees. I migrated them from cPanel hosting over to a Microsoft Office 365 tenancy under a new shorter domain. The migration process using Microsoft’s tools meant all emails came across and there was a seamless 0 down time transmission.
