Working for a charity is always a treat, especially one as unique as Abilympics, representing not only Western Australia, but all of Australia in international work-skills events. Modernising Abilympics website was the primary goal, as their old site was a self-built php website. By bringing it into WordPress the owner was able to use it to make changes or additions as needed with ease.
Abilympics never had a donation option before, by using Stripe with Gravity Forms I was able to make a fully functional donation page that does not have any on-going costs like many charity donation and giving plugins. The donation function works just as well as any other solution with out additional cost involved.
Additionally I was able to secure the client their .org.au as they met the eligibility criteria, this offers a much more professional appeal when advertising the website or gaining new visitors.
There are many contact entry points throughout the website based on the needs of the visitor, using gravity forms I was able to make a smoother inbounding process for people looking to help, donate or compete.
Additionally helping the client move Abilympics Google My Business to a professional set up rather than a more “done from home” approach, has meant they appear proudly at the top in Google SERP.
