Designing a website for another creative person is extremely hard, they are trusting you to represent what they create in the right way. It was a joy to work with Danny and the beautiful images & video he produced. With his work speaking for itself a clean, crisp design based on a simple Avada template was all that was needed.
The site leads in with a large video header to let Danny’s creative work speak for itself. This brough up the delicate balance of optimising the video header without sacrificing Danny’s creative integrity. Utilising the highly optimised video formats and compression methods, I kept the video high definition while still being as small as a few high-quality images on the page. This was further added to with great WordPress caching (including page caching) and using a Content Distribution Network (CDN) that has high performance in Australia.
